General duties for trustees include:

  • ensuring finances are well managed
  • researching potential industries
  • developing a strategic plan
  • writing reports
  • consulting and communicating with owners
  • conflict resolution and mediation.

Trustees are appointed for life or until they resign, unless the trust order states otherwise.
